Mr Sun returns to Monterey, California And the Otter Opry, for Ellington’s Nutcracker. In March of 2023, legendary string musicians Darol Anger, Joe K. Walsh, Grant Gordy, and Aidan O’Donnell went into the recording studio to transmogrify the legendary Duke Ellington/Strayhorn Nutcracker Suite into acoustic string band language, as their band Mr Sun.
